A couple days of 40 degree temps is converting the snow to
nice slow running water. The first 2 layers of ice are still at
the base of it all.

Major snow & ice storm moving in with power outages expected.
It has been thru Oklahoma this morning and raising hell with the

When you're in a restaurant and you don't get the service you deserve, you can talk to the manager and get the matter straightened out. But when you're in a relationship and you're not getting the level of attention you deserve, you need to go to the source. There is no side-stepping in this situation. You can complain to your friends all you want, but nothing is going to change until you talk to the person who needs to hear what you have to say. |

The house gets cold pretty fast when the furnace goes off.
What with the whiteout snowfall and sleet falling, we also got
enough ice to take out most of the power and transmission facilities
here. The winds were gusting to 40mph.
Power back up in 6 hours but cable transmission took quite a bit longer.
Sure glad my field of employment is not a repairman in this equipment. |

Gas prices have fallen thru the deck. Not complaining but isn't
it annoying? Maybe OPEC had to call a time-out to count their money.
Better take an auto vacation quick before it goes back up to $80 a barrel. |
